Annual Small Business Awards Luncheon

Date: May 14, 2012

Time: Noon - 1:30 p.m. at the Tulsa Convention Center 

Registration Fee:  $40 for members and $50 for non-members.

The Tulsa Metro Chamber will honor emerging entrepreneurs and the best in small business at the 2011 Crystal Star Small Business Awards luncheon scheduled for May 14. The luncheon will feature keynote speaker Paul J. Corson, the acting director of the U.S. Department of Commerce's Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Among his responsibilities, Paul runs the i6 and the Jobs and Innovation Accelerator grant competitions, manages the Commerce Secretary's National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, developed the Taskforce on Space Industry Work Force and Economic Development report to the President, and led Departmental efforts to co-host the Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship.

The Chamber’s Crystal Star awards are presented each year to small businesses that represent vision, innovation and dedication, all of which are critical to improving the Tulsa regional economy.

Join us as we recognize the accomplishments and contributions of outstanding small businesses in the region, noon-1:30 p.m., Monday, May 14 at the Tulsa Convention Center, 100 Civic Center.
