Chamber Sustainability

The Tulsa Regional Chamber is going green

The Tulsa Regional Chamber cares about the growth of our economy and the quality of life in our region. We believe that becoming more sustainable is an area that will positively impact these goals. We want to share our progress with you.

Sustainable efforts currently in place include:
  • Personal paper recycling bins available for employees
  • Building-hosted large paper recycling bins throughout office
  • Covanta-hosted large metal/plastic/glass recycling bins in each kitchen area
  • No Styrofoam cups
  • Knives, forks and spoons made of "bioplastic" which is a plant-based material that is biodegradable
  • Our plates and bowls are also made of materials that will naturally compost
We have a long way to go - our next step is to add recycling options to our conference rooms. If you're interested in the steps we've taken to get here check out our sustainable journey!

Remember that you can make a green difference at your home or in your workplace. Even tasks as simple as recycling, repurposing or using biodegradable products can have a large effect.

The Chamber Sustainability Program would not be possible without our generous sponsors:
