Training Tulsa's future workforce

Quality education is key for any thriving community. Tulsa is fortunate to have a community of leaders who value education at all levels.

Tulsa's ability to retain and recruit talented, educated and a trained workforce relies on access to quality education. Education prepares the workforce of tomorrow, helps existing workers gain new skills and is a necessary component for an informed and engaged community.

The Chamber continues its community advocacy efforts to raise the standards of excellence for the educational establishments and institutions surrounding Tulsa. Additional Chamber-sponsored programs provide opportunities to concentrate on specific education needs and highlight current successes.

Recognizing the need to engage our students, the Chamber encourages employers and parents to promote business and community involvement in the public schools through programs like Partners in Education and Oklahoma Scholars. These programs provide students with the confidence, skills and readiness to continue with post-secondary education and formal training.
