Advertise with the Nation’s Best Chamber

The Tulsa Metro Chamber’s Membership Directory and Community Profile is our most requested publication and we still have space for you to get your business’s products and services before Tulsa Metro Chamber members, the regional community and potential newcomers.

In addition to the printed piece, the entire publication can also be found online where it’s available to the more than 100,000 visitors our site receives each year. Chamber membership entitles each company to one listing in the alphabetical section by company and one in the classified section by type of business, but display advertisements will help your business stand out from the competition.

Advertising space is available to fit every budget with display ads starting as low as $315.

Partners In Education kicks off new school year

More than 450 individuals joined the Tulsa Metro Chamber last week to begin another successful year of the Partners In Education program, a collaboration of the Chamber and Tulsa Public Schools. The Honorable Dewey Bartlett, Tulsa mayor, and TPS Superintendent Dr. Keith Ballard were on hand to discuss the importance of education to the community and the future of Tulsa. Ballard commended the Chamber’s efforts to connect the business community to schools in Tulsa.

Additionally, KIPP Preparatory School’s drumline band and the Edison High School varsity pom squad provided entertainment at the breakfast.

More than 1,450 corporations, community organizations and faith-based entities are now making a difference in the lives of children in Tulsa through Partners In Education. Through the program, community organizations are matched with individual schools, multiple schools or the entire district to provide resources through volunteers, cash and in-kind contributions including professional expertise and access to other resources, all of which assist schools in filling gaps not covered by school funding.

The Chamber continues to seek partners for this critical program. To become a partner or to learn more, contact Heather Johnson at heatherjohnson@tulsachamber.com or 918.560.0218.

American Airlines names VP of base maintenance

American Airlines announced last week the selection of William Collins as vice president of base maintenance beginning Oct. 1. Collins will oversee American’s maintenance operations at its major repair, overhaul and modification bases in Tulsa, Fort Worth and Kansas City, Mo. Collins brings nearly 30 years of experience in engineering, aviation and manufacturing, currently serving as vice president of electric power at GE Aviation.

“As Tulsa’s largest employer, a close working relationship with American Airlines is critical,” said Mike Neal, President and CEO of the Tulsa Metro Chamber. “We welcome William Collins to Tulsa and look forward to working together to assist American with growth in the region.”

Collins will be based in Tulsa. For more, click here to read an article in the Tulsa World.
